Nicolas Cage joins 'Kick-Ass' movie

Following on from his starring role in 'Ghost Rider', Nicolas Cage has joined the cast of 'Kick-Ass', Matthew Vaughn's adaptation of the violent comic book from Marvel.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Aaron Johnson volition play the title quality, a high school doormat who decides to become a superhero, even though he has no particular abilities.

Problems originate when he encounters figures from the underworld.

Cage will play a former police force officer world Health Organization wants to bring a drug master to justice and has trained his daughter (11-year-old Chloe Moretz) to be a killer.

Shooting in London and Toronto is due to start in the autumn.
